Yep works good but they are hard to remove. I saw a guy online gut the 18v xrp battery and replace it with Lipo batteries typically used in Rc airplanes I believe. I'm in the same boat all 4 18v batteries are dead. ![]() Milwaukee fuel, 20v DeWalt, 18v DeWalt, snap on of all sizes, and Porter Cable. The new line of 20V are noticeably better. Dewalt has "trade in sales" you can bring in a old 18V and the new 20V is about 50% off. Doesn't work with all tools, drains batteries if not disconnected during storage, generally clunky, prone to connection problems. I bought a couple adapters and buy 20 volt tools if a 18 goes down. Once you start using 20v DeWalt brushless tool or Milwaukee Fuel tools you will wonder why you stuck with the 18v stuff so long. I have one works it OK, adaptor seems really hard to remove from the tool, but that is just my opinion, I sold all my 18v tools to a guy cheap just to get rid of them only kept a few odd tools a don't use much, jig saw, right angle drill and circular saw. How do you guys like them? Edited by AGB1640 20:41 Anyone run the 20v to 18v adapter? My 18v tools are in good shape, so I don't need to upgrade to 20v tools yet.
